Humpty Dumpty speaks out about gun control at the Supreme Court

I felt so powerful when I was at the Supreme Court of the United States. I was the only one there in a little plaid suit too. Wish I would have had a gavel to “lay down the law.” The law needs to be laid down ~ just like guns do in order to HELP control violence before it controls us.

Most of us are just little guys, whether we wear plaid suits or not, we just want to live in harmony, not fear. I should be able to do that and you should be able to do that too. If we fall off our wall, it’s because, well, just because we fell, not because we were shot down. That scares me a lot these days.

So, if I were in the Supreme Court, or any of court, I’d say, “Stop shooting at little people who just want to see, to feel, to dream, to love, and to know that they will have a chance to grow into big people.” I might be stuffed and dressed in plaid but even I, Mr. H.D., feel pain and joy.

Anyone you recognize or are we both just pretending to know something?

Humpty Dumpty is in Super Form for Super Sunday

Humpty Ball

I know I’m not in the shape of a football but here I am all rolled up and ready to play on Super Sunday! Give me a kick. Toss me a throw. Whirl me in the air and watch me go.

Enjoy your Super Sunday in a safe and fun way. Before you drink too much, drive too fast, or act too silly, stop and ask yourself,

Humpty Dumpty Cries for Newtown CT

My tears are streaming down my face with sadness.
My arms feel empty with hurt.
My heart is broken with loss.

Why did my children die?
They were young.
They were innocent.
They were my friends.

I will miss all of these children
as if they were mine alone.
As I cry these many tears
I know God is holding each one in His hands
and they are home.
